Trustory
Account Recovery
Worker Account Protection
Lost phone number or new number already exists?
Submit a phone recovery request so Trustory can review account ownership before changing the login phone number.
Why this review is required
Your phone number controls OTP access to your Trustory account. To protect workers from fraud, stolen IDs, SIM swap risks, and recycled phone numbers, phone changes after verification require Trustory review.
Important notice
Do not submit someone else's National ID, TRU-ID, or phone number. False recovery requests may lead to account suspension, rejected recovery, and permanent audit records.
What helps approval?
Provide your National ID, TRU-ID if available, the new phone number, and a clear explanation. Uploading proof is optional now but strongly recommended.

Account Recovery
Request phone number change
Use this form if you lost access to your old phone number, or your new number is already linked to another Trustory account.
Security review required
This request does not change your phone immediately. It creates a Trustory review case so your account cannot be taken over by someone who only knows your National ID or TRU-ID.
Recovery Details
Use the National ID linked to your Trustory account.
Example: TRU-254-ABCD1234
Enter it if you remember it.
Will be reviewed as: +254
Example: I lost access to my old SIM and need my Trustory OTP sent to my new number.
Optional: upload ID proof, SIM replacement proof, or a signed statement.
Declaration
By submitting this request, you confirm that the information provided is true and relates to your own Trustory account. Trustory may reject requests that cannot be reasonably verified.
